every gift helps a family build a foundation
Your support does much more than help families and individuals escape from substandard living conditions. You are helping them achieve a better, healthier life and build long-term financial security. Habitat homeowners’ affordable mortgage payments free up finances for food, child care, medicine and other necessities. Research has shown that safe, decent housing improves health, increases children’s educational achievement and strengthens community ties.
there are many ways to support our mission and our community
You can help a family help themselves
Families and individuals who partner with us build their own home alongside volunteers, pay an affordable mortgage and are grateful for your help.
Your support matters! Your recurring gift invests in the stability and success of local families. You pick a gift that fits in your budget, and Habitat can plan for the future.
Start A Fundraiser
Have a Facebook fundraiser for your birthday, a peer-to-peer fundraiser with friends, or even a lemonade stand. Get creative & have fun supporting our community!
Finding decent, safe and affordable housing is not easy. For Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity, finding affordable land to build on is also a big obstacle.
Donate A Vehicle
If you have a car, truck, van, trailer, RV, or boat you no longer want, taking up space in your yard, garage, or driveway, consider donating it to support affordable housing.
Sponsor A Build
Your business will be recognized at the build site and the Habitat Homeowner Home Dedication Ceremony. Opportunity for employee group volunteer days too.
Donate through payroll. Ask about Employer Matching. Coordinate a small-scale fundraiser - "Pay To Dress Down Day" and donate the proceeds.
There are different items we need for everyday use, items for new Habitat homeowners and volunteers. Take a look at our wishlist to see how you can help.
Extend your support for Habitat for Humanity and make a lasting impact on those in need of a decent and affordable place to call home.
