NIP Tax Credits Available Now

Did you know you can make a difference while saving money on your taxes? A donation to Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity can reduce both your West Virginia and federal taxes through the Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP).

This year, we’ve been awarded NIP tax credits to support our newest project located in Morgantown, where we’ve begun construction on two new three-bedroom, two-bath homes.

Here’s how you can benefit:

1. Donate at least $500 to Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity.
2. Write “NIP” in the check memo. If you would prefer to donate online, you can select to add a note when you are asked for your credit card information.
3. You’ll receive a tax credit voucher for 50% of your contribution!

It’s a simple way to give back, and your generosity is already hard at work. Thanks to past contributions, we’ve completed three homes in Fairmont, and three families will soon achieve their dream of homeownership. At Mon Valley Habitat, we’re not just building homes—we’re building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
