Construction Update: Morgantown Habitat Homes Near Move-In Ready

Exciting progress continues at our Morgantown build site as these future homes move closer and closer to completion! Thanks to the incredible support of volunteer groups from West Virginia Women Work and Clear Mountain Bank, we recently completed the installation of all hardwood flooring throughout both homes. Their dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm helped us accomplish this major milestone much faster than we could have on our own.

In addition to the hardwood flooring, carpeting has now been installed on the stairways and in the lower-level bedrooms. The completion of the flooring marks another exciting step forward, and our team is now hard at work finishing the kitchens. Cabinets and countertops have been installed, transforming these houses into welcoming homes for local families. The bathrooms have also been completed, with fixtures, finishes, and final touches now in place, bringing these spaces one step closer to being move-in ready for future homeowners.

We are still seeking a partner family for one of these homes and are currently accepting applications. If you know someone who dreams of affordable homeownership, please encourage them to learn more about Habitat’s homeownership program. Thank you to our volunteers, donors, and supporters who continue to make this work possible!
