Mon Valley Habitat ReStore

What is a ReStore?

A ReStore is a furniture store, a book store, a home goods store, a home improvement store, a place to donate, a place to volunteer and so much more. And the best part? It’s all for a good cause!

Our Habitat ReStore is open to the public and sells new and gently-used furniture, appliances, home décor, building materials and more at a fraction of the retail price. We mark our prices down on a regular basis—and we have a large variety of daily and weekly sales, so there’s always a bargain to be had. All proceeds from the ReStore are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance through the construction of safe, decent and affordable housing for hard-working individuals & families in our community.

Business Hours:
Tuesday – Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ReStore Address:
1825 Earl L. Core Road
Morgantown, WV 26505

Need to donate stuff?

Remodeling, cleaning, down-sizing or just getting organized? Whatever your project, don’t let the items you no longer need end up in your local landfill.

Habitat ReStores divert hundreds of tons from landfills each year, accepting hard-to-dispose-of items including new and used furniture, appliances and surplus building materials. In many cases, pickup service is provided for large items.

Best of all, proceeds from the sale of these donated goods help our neighbors build a foundation for the future.

No. You can only purchase ReStore items in-store. This is to avoid any potential fraudulent transactions.

Items on the salesfloor are sold “first come, first served”, therefore we can’t hold items for customers to buy at a later time/date.

Yes. If you buy something (e.g. dining table and chairs, door, couch, etc.), but can’t take it home with you that same day, our ReStore will hold your purchased item(s) for two (2) business days. You must pick up your purchased item(s) on the 2nd business day. If not picked up by the 2nd business day, your item(s) will be marked for sale again.

Example: You buy a couch on Wednesday, June 3. You have until end of business day Friday, June 5 to pick up your couch.

No. Unfortunately, we do not deliver items that have been purchased. You must find a way to pick up and take home your items.

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for all active-duty and veteran servicepersons.

We do not assist with loading purchased items into vehicles, nor unloading donations from vehicles for liability purposes.*

*We take into consideration on a case-by-case basis (e.g. a person in a wheelchair).

All sales are final.* There are no cash refunds.

*Appliances, light fixtures and anything with a motor has a 2-week warranty. Though we do our best to inspect these donated items, we can’t predict the remaining lifeline. If your item stops working during your 2-week warranty, you can return the item. Be sure to bring the item back along with the sold agreement and receipt. You can exchange for a similar item of equal or lesser pricing, or you can receive store credit.

We enjoy having ReStore volunteers! You can learn more about volunteering with us on our Volunteer page.
